odd situation

10 days since my last post.
i dunno why, but i sort of didnt enjoy posting for a second there.
i guess felt like my posts arent as good as my mates.. because i really enjoy reading most of my friends blogs.. but now im thinking that i really couldnt care less.
i just read Sam Trotmans blog and he said about how his friend said "Blogging is just how people in 2008 achieve their 15 minutes of fame.". And that was really intimidating ..But fuck who ever said that.. ima write it a bit more .. but just because i enjoy it.


Ive got a few things that i am really digging at the moment.

I can remember how much i loved Vanshe back in the day when got my hands on their first ep "Van She". I was completely obsessed for months after that. But then the obsession died because they werent releasing anything else except for those 6 songs. I'd seen them once between then and splendour and they were really good, with a few new good songs. But when we were waiting for them to play at splendour i remember saying to sam "they waited way to long to drop this, i prob wont like it that much". I just got my grubby little paws on it the other day and its pretty fuckin good. I'm really impressed!

1st thing...Big Will has accepted my hedgehog launcher challenge and has made it to space in 3days!!!
I posted the challenge expecting nobody to achieve space travel in less than 4 days.

2nd thing...Dear everyone.. the opening ceremony is bullshit!. those chinese ppl are completely ridiculous. i will mos def watch that again!! it was amazing.! i LOVED it.

soooo im unemployed.. and not studying.
what do i do now?.. already in search of a job, which is what everyone would suggest im sure.
Ive done all the stupid online applications, and ive put out a few resumes... yuk
Id much prefer to spend every day like i did today though. I sprayed a canvas out the back and drank 2 beers and smoked a bit. listened to music. cooked some sausage sandwiches for me and sam. washed up.. now im just out in the back yard wearing just a pair of shorts.
oh what a life.
it saddens me to know that it is time for change. wheather i like it or not! (and its about time)
So i will dedicate this post to my gorgeous mother. The only reason i have had such opportunities to live my life like this.. sick one mum!
My mum is cool, All those of you who know her will agree im sure. Mum went through my cd collection at home the other day looking for my strokes cds, and thats cool. She couldnt find them so she called me and told me she settled for Red hot chilli peppers. I wasnt AS impressed, but that is still pretty fucking cool. She is coming with me to see the Arctic Monkeys when they return to Australia, and that is fucking cool. My mother is way cooler and stronger than your mother. And that is preeeeetty cool. I LOVE MY MUM.

Due to the crazy weekend that has just passed, i am a cripple in bed. i cannot walk because all my bones are sore as fuck. Lack of sleep, no bed, crazy dancing to the presets all huge reasons as to why my spine is stiff as foxy at fisherama. So ill just tap tap tap away and write up some shit about my weekend.

..Friday saw Helen, Djari, Tom Alex, Foxy, Oscar and Myself load up the Troop carrier to head down the coast. Each with a carton of beer we could tell it was going to be a choice trip. The traffic sucked. The cigarettes at hungry jacks were good. The sickness that followed the 2 darts sucked. But fat freddies drop and daft punk fixed it. We arrived in byron and is was busier than a motherlover. It wasnt long until luke picked me and DJ up and took us out to brunswick. Dave was already fucked up on ganja cookies he picked up on his detour through Nimbin. I cant find the correct superlatives to describe the excitement that i felt to see all my homies. I arrived and most of them were already whacked.... cool.
The rest of the night was spent drinking beers, blowing smoke rings and hiding from everyone because i was so stoned. Proper good nite boys.

Woke up on a couch half my size. Then looked back on my awesom weekend. then said lovely goodbyes to all my Freinds. then thought we were going to bris but then we they decided to not go to uni. so we went to a secluded beach in tweed. the guys went spear fishing and caught dinner. I smoked cigarettes. had breakfast beer. Smoked weed. Had a useless pill. hung with friends. tagged in the sand. Came down. went up again. Loved life
